113 - Predator (1987)

113 - Predator (1987)

"When I was little, we found a man. He looked like - like, butchered. The old women in the village crossed themselves, and whispered crazy things, strange things. "El diablo cazador de hombres". Only in the hottest years this happens. And this year, it grows hot. We begin finding our men. We found them sometimes without their skin... and sometimes much, much worst. "El que hace trofeos de los hombres" means "the demon who makes trophies of man".

This week THCC get to the chopper to review one of the greatest action films of all time, John McTiernan's Predator (1987) starring a brilliant ensemble cast that includes Arnold Schwarzenegger, Carl Weathers, Jesse Ventura, Bill Duke and Shane Black, alongside an fantastic score and cinematography.

In the jungles of Central America Major Alan "Dutch" Schaefer (Arnie) leads a squad of muscle mercenaries on a mission to save a group of hostages from local guerrillas. They find themselves facing a new threat, a ruthless technologically advanced extra-terrestrial who is hunting them for sport.
