It is now spooky season on THCC, so to celebrate we go back to review John Landis's comedy horror classic, An American Werewolf in London (1981)!
When two American backpackers, David and Jack, are attacked by a terrifying creature on the Yorkshire Moors, it continues a curse which leads to David to become the next werewolf!
This film pays homage to werewolf literature and cinema whilst developing its own take on the classic monster. We discuss our love of the flesh biting creature, why London is such a great place for gothic horror settings, themes of isolation and transformation and the many covers of Blue Moon!
