38 - RoboCop (1987)

"Your move creep!"  Cyberpunk November comes to a close as THCC discuss another Paul Verhoeven sci-fi classic: 1987's RoboCop. Set in a near futuristic Detroit, a city in decline, where mass unemployment and crime cascades the streets and a mega-conglomerate corporation creates and controls everything, from household items to military weapons, from the police to the local government. Add in a part man, part machine crime fighting robot cop and its a great 80s action flick, both a satire and a forecast of a future where big corporations reign supreme!  

Plus to start we do a short spoiler review/discussion of the latest Mandalorian episode, S2 EP5: The Jedi!
