40 - Home Alone (1990) and Home Alone 2 (1992)
For this week THCC review two of the most classic Christmas films to come out in modern memory. Chris Columbus and John Hughes's Home Alone (1990) and Home Alone 2: Lost in New York (1992). When Kevin McCallister (Macularly Culkin) is left behind by his family during the holiday season, he must learn to look after himself and become protector of his home in the face of the robber duo the Wet Bandits.
We talk about how great these films are as Christmas films and its themes of religion, family, growing up and of course the festive season, whilst discussing our own personal stories of airport mishaps and our childhoods at Christmas!
