IT BEGINS!  This weekend marks the release of Dune (2021), the adaptation of the first half of Frank Herbert's epic literary masterpiece in UK and US cinemas!  Set in the far future, gifted heir Paul Atreides is thrust into a war between the mighty houses of Atreides and Harkonnen over the desert planet of Arrakis and its greatest resource the spice. Plagued with strange dreams and visions, his journey will lead him to its deadly sandy landscapes and its people, the Fremen.  How does this adaptation of Dune compare to it's 1984 counterpart?
