86 - Sam Raimi's Spider-Man Trilogy

As the long awaited release of Spider Man: No Way Home quickly approaches, THCC go back to the beginning to review the early films of the famed web-shooter, starting with Sam Raimi's Spider-Man trilogy (2002-07). 

A pivotal event in the history of the superhero cinema, Raimi's trilogy helped lay the foundations of many of the comic book film franchises today, with a three-part story that delves into the everyday life of Queen's kid Peter Parker, his relationships with Mary Jane Watson, Harry Osborn and Aunt May and his struggles against great villains like the Green Goblin, Doc-Ock and Venom! 

Themes of responsibility, forgiveness, love, duty, guilt, revenge and heroism define an iconic trilogy that is still prominent today.
